Google, Yahoo and other indexing spiders tend not to take up subscriptions, sadly.

Same here. I don't log on very often on any forum I'm a member of (unless I need to).

Logging off now.

I dont either. However, I would say that there are a heck of a lot of prospective new members out there even allowing for Google etc.
I was a visitor for about 3 years before commiting myself. In other words I saw the light.

while there are experts here, can anyone tell me how (if possible?) to change the setup so that threads which have been updated appear at the top like most forums instead of disappear down the page?

Im sure it was noted here somewhere previously but can find where.

cheers!

On the main forum page, you need to select the display option of sort by "Response Time". This will allow the most recently updated threads to be at the top of the forum thread directory.

When you click on Forum from the home page or if you just open the Forum page there is a box at the top above the first thread and the option is in there.

Tony,

As seaid above. The nonymous are generally people redirected from search engines like google. They're still worth money to EO through the ads.

May-be I should have worded "anonymous figures" slightly different. However it has created a bit of a discussion.
