Tow capacity of 96 Turbo Jackaroo

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know what a 96 TD Jackaroo towing capacity is please.

Don't know about the diesel but I think from memory, my 1995 V6 (petrol) had a rated towing capacity of 2,250kg - it was written in the owner's manual.

Yep, Tim, straight out of the book... actually my book (1998) says 2500kg, but that Holden Isuzu offer a tow package rated at 2250kg, if you want to pull the extra 250kg, get a tow bar specialist to fit a 'tailored Heavy-Duty tow bar'. Oh, and load at the ball = 100kg max.

Dave, yours looks like the 3.0L TD which may have a different towing rating to the 1996 model which had a 3.1L TD.

Jump on redbook.com.au click used cars and then select Holden and jackaroo. then find the model you are after and all the appropriate info will be displayed.
