Firstly,a liitle item in todays SMH. Golfers will be able to play the world's longest course ,all 1365km of the 18 hole Nullarbor Links between Ceduna and Kalgoorlie. It opens in October.
Secondly, last night Landline Extra had an interesting show about the Ningaloo coast and the competing interests of leaseholders, campers and the govt. The text of the 18 min report is on the ABC website.Food for thought. Having been to Coral Bay in 2005 the show whet the appetite for a revisit -hey it's only 5000km - one way!!!

yeh they are suffering for a lack of land release there at coral Bay. bueatiful spot! BUT it fills very easily and a lot of travellers are turned away for this reason. Any wonder they free camp not because they want but they have to!
The quobba coastline is a top spot to visit just for the sheer ruggedness of it all.
