Hi,
This info is from the Hayman Reese website.
They have three listings for Foresters. Numbers listed after the prices are the weight ratings

SUBARU 7/2002-03/08 1910 Forester (C) $396.00 1400/75
SUBARU 7/2002-03/08 R1908 Forester (C) $772.00 1800/180
Cheers

Friends have the same combination. They use a WDH and the Dove tows fine even on graded dirt.

I had a Dove years ago and they do have a heavy ball weight. The wheels are a fair way back but they do tow beautifully. You may need some weight distribution bars to keep its bum off the ground. Not forgetting you will probably have the back of the Forrester loaded to the hilt also.. Michael
