Name Not Found

Hi all
We, Frans and Sien, are a Belgian couple intending to do the CSR. Frans is already is Perth, preparing the Toyata Landcruiser. I arrive in Perth 18th July. We'll be in Wiluna by the 20th and want to start our trip the 21st or 22nd.
We did several tracks and had several holidays in Australia. The CSR is the crown on the jewel !
Anyone leaving the same period ? Thanks for letting us know.

Hi Franz & Sien, The Canning Stock Route isn't a road, it's only a track.Appologies if you are experienced Desert travellers. You must do your homework for this trip. Don't stay in the caravan park in Wiluna, it's behind the pub! There is a great spot out of town a bit called Gunbarrel Grapes Traveler's rest. Good , well priced camping & lovely, helpful people. It's much quieter than in town. Have a safe & enjoyable trip.

Hi Sien and Frans,

I have recently arrived back home from the CSR and was surprised by the amount of traffic, quite a few single vehicles too.

You may well meet a like couple looking for travelling companions.
Channel 40 uhf.

If you haven't already, get a book on the history of the CSR. It will make the journey all the more interesting.

Enjoy your trip, I did.
