H all, Anyone know if there's a track from
Kalbarri up to
Shark Bay? Vaguely remember reading about one somewhere. The map I have just shows a bit of a hole there.
Thanks, Wayne

The track your thinking about may be the new road from
Northampton taking you coastal to
Kalbarri. Nice drive.
I don't know of any track from
Kalbarri to
Shark Bay but I suggest you ring the local coppers or CALM
ranger who will know for sure.
cheers

Hi Andrew, Thanks for the quick reply. The Northhampton/
Kalbarri rd isn't the one I'm looking for. I'm hoping that I can find a track on the north side of the river that goes up to
Shark Bay or thereabouts. I've only been in to
Kalbarri once and can't remember if you can even drive to the river on the north side. Might have to try the CALM option.
Thanks again,
Wayne

yes you can. goes along the top of the cliffs and passes the zuytdorf wreck
campsite (museum only). have done it about 15yrs ago when living in
geraldton. enter through murchison station. exit near dulverton bay. you may need to seek out permission from all sorts now though. rgds, mark
