Has anyone had any experience or have any knowledge of Ranger Caravans? I found a dealer on the net who is selling these 'off-road' caravans, but it's hard to tell from a bad picture the quality etc.
They also look to be a standard road van done up with a bit of chequerplate to look off-road.

The dealer I spoke to said there is a 3 year warranty on the vans, and he's pretty confident about their off-road capabilities.

I have just this morning found on the internet a ASIC report stating that Ranger Caravans PTY LTD went into liquidation in April 2009. This is cause for concern, especially on the warranty side, and not willing to risk $50,000 on a new van that may be shoddily made, and I'll not have comeback.

Your thoughts?
Kym

Hi Kym, Your own comments & observations thus far seem to send out pretty loud warning bells IMO.
It's your $50K, but if it were me I would want to be dealing with a Company that I had reasonable cause to believe were going to be around for a while & stand by their product by way of after sales service & all that goes with after sales service. Good luck & cheers

G/Day Kym

I would be checking it out thoroughly, you don't get much for 50k for a off road van,or a dirt road van, the build quality would be sus.

Cheers
