Well what a trip, where do i start. The highlights were, we all had a flight over Mungerannie.Spending 2 days at
Birdsville and gettin up and over Big Red and the museum, and then on to
Innamincka via the
Walkers Crossing track which was pretty
well corrugated in
places . We camped out at Cullyamurra
water hole and listen to the
dingo's howl at night and then came the rain on the 3rd day jeez i couldn't believe it
hay .Just about all night and the morning wet,wet ,wet it made things interesting driving wise. There was a role over on the Coongie lakes track that morning all reported to be o.k ,a family of 4 i think. We spent 4 days there and then down to Arakaroola were it was still wet i wasn't too happy with the management there. When we asked for a meal and got nocked back, thats another post later. Our last night was
Parachilna Gorge, still wet we had a great meal in the pub to celebrate a great family trip.

Hey Greendog
Sounds like a great trip - would be really interested in hearing more as we're heading up through those parts in September.
What's a must-see and what to look out for?
Cheers
