Has anyone got any info on Cooper tyres 240X70 to suit 2003 Prado? Or any advice regarding tyres to suit this model. Look forward to your replies

BFG A/T 265x70x16. Ride will be slightly stiffer with these but toughness and reliability are fantastic.

What do you intend doing with the Prado ?.We have Cooper atr s on the Nullarbor(came with them) but they are not as good imho as Bridgestone 694 s which I have on My Jackaroo, and The Coopers ar a lot dearer.
Cheers Pete

I've got Cooper ST 265/75R16 on a 2001 Prado but I'm guessing your 2003 Prado is the 120 series with 17" rims. It depends on what sort of driving you do and your brand preference but I've had a good run out of Coopers. The lugs on the STs chip a bit in gibber country; the softer rubber compounds are probably less likely to chip but wear a bit faster. I got 85k from my first set of Coopers, was tempted to try the BFGs, then bought Coopers again after such a good run with the first set I had. It also depends on how you treat your tyres no matter what the brand; air down when required, reduced speed when necessary etc. You'll get positive and negative feedback for most brands on here.

2003 Prado have 17inch rims. Standard tyres are 265/65/17. Can fit 265/70/17 without problems. My Coopers ATR Light Truck tyres are fine. Some chipping over gibber etc.. On schedule to exceed 80k klms. IAB

I've got the same size ATR's on my 2004 GXL but this fellow might have the GX which runs narrower rims. ATR's are good on road and moderate off road. I have a set of Goodyear MTR on second set of rims and they are fantastic off road.
Cheers
