Do you have to pay Transfer Duty on second hand campers when the ownership is transfered in QLD.

I have checked on the QLD Dept of Transport website and could find no reference to it.

I thought I had heard that Campers were now exempt from the Duty.

Hi Kev,
No Stamp Duty payable on Campers or Caravans in QLD.....but we don't crow too loudly as Anna Bligh could get to hear of it and add it to her latest list of cash grabs....after she's through selling the Port of Brisbane and the Qld Rail and we've already lost the 8CPL fuel subsidy and......Oh well...sorry about that outburst.....

Hope this helps
Cheers
Rick

Up here is still bucking the trend, and finally starting to go forward again after a few quiet months.

Bring on the LNG plants
