Planning to do this trip in May/June 2010. Question.......Fuel at community (Kunawarritji), is it cash only,or can you use cards as well? Thanks for all the thread,can help with your planning

Hi Peter,

You can use a card at Kunawarritji (Well 33) but it is savings only, no credit card. Fuel is $3.20 per litre:((((

-Just re-read your post.

As you are not going until mid next year I guess it would pay you to check again a little closer to the time, could change.
We were there a few weeks ago and that was the situation then.

Peter,

Another bit of useless info;

at Kunawaritji you can use a washing machine for $3.oo per load, have a shower for $5.oo, stay in a cabin for $10.oo per night per person or camp for $10.oo per person.

-and FWIW I only got fuel...
