just read in july Bush n beach new alvey 4.1m telescopic rod matches up to any alvey 650 reel any body seen one collapses down to 1.1 m may be worth looking at mal b

ta, will look into that one.
Not having a bullbar means securing the rods could be much easier if they were much shorter. I currently have my rocket launcher on my roof racks, ok but not that convenient.
I have a telescopic rod from ebay but think a winter whiting would crack it.
Alvey though, I pretty much trust.
