So i have an 84 Hilux, with the 2L-T motor in it, which i am advised is not standard in this vehicle. Now, initially i thought the perfect choice would be to get a 2nd hand stock turbo from a wreckers and just get it fitted for abit of a power upgrade, however, reading up has scared me out of it abit cost wise with all the little extras people talk about getting.I just want the best "bang for your buck" alternative. I will be towing a trailer weighing 1500kgs on the back regularly, and i dont want to hear about how it wont pull it because it already manages without the aid of a turbo, i just want abit more power. Am thinking commodore 5 Litre upgrades, any advice welcomed...

Commodore V6 ecotec motor out of vs upwards. Good on fuel, parts dirt cheap available anywhere, and whack the auto behind it, Regards Steve
