Hi to all. We are heading over to fraser in september. Got everything organized and ready to go except for booking the site at dundabara (ooppps!!!). Turns out that they are booked out for trailers, no surprises there given the time of year.
Waddy point is our next option however i am wondering how we'd go towing the little camper trailer up there? Anyone got any ideas or past experiences to be shared?
cheers
Dan...

Hi
I haven't towed a trailer up to Waddy my self. But when i have been there i have seen plenty of camper trailer's up there. And the fisher men tow some very big dual axle trailer's with boats on up there now problem.
It is going over
Indian Head chewed up by the buses and
the beach between middle rock's are the soft spot's just air the 4wd down to 18psi trailer down to about 12 psi and keep the revs up and get a good run up of the hard sand .
I think Waddy is the better spot anyway.
Rob.

Cheers rob
Yep
indian head was what i was worried about. But it looks like we'll give it a go. As you say if they can get a big boat up there we should be all right.
thanks
Dan

You should have no problems with the trailer going to Waddy, and if you do get stuck there is always someone to lend a hand.

We have been to Fraser Island several times, last time we took a trailer but camped next to
the beach about halfway up. We drove up to
Indian head and there was some vechiles with a variety of trailers driving around up there. So you should be ok, there will be someone to help!
