Family Friendly Oz Camping
I love going
camping
To escape the normal routine
To see beautiful landscapes
To take amazing photos for memories forever
To see my family loving every minute - Nearly every minute!!
To see nature at it's best
To see, enjoy and touch amazing
places in Australia
What do you love about
camping?

to get back in touch with nature - to see the stars at night, to sit round a fire etc.
Man was a nomadic hunter - that's when he's happiest - we weren't made for agriculture and houses - we were meant to roam & hunt for our needs!.
We are happiest when either alone or in small family groups!
Stick man in a village he will cope OK - but put him in a city and all he wants to do is kill his fellow man!
Camping takes us away from all we hate (city life) and puts us back into familiar surroundings - where sub consciously we are happiest.
Course when your
camping as
well as seeing the stars at night, you can see the clouds and rain as
well ;o(
Ohh
well life wasn't meant to be easy and living outside of the house and concrete jungle for a while reminds of those life realities too.
Simply put -
camping & the outdoors is good for the soul.
Now -
camping with women folk?
Well now we are into dangerous territory - a totally different set a rules apply!
LOL
Cheers

Hi All
We called in and checked out South
Ballina Camping / Caravan
Park on the weekend, lots of good
camp sites with power and non power sites, it's about 2 hundred metres from the surf beach which you can drive on and you can take dogs there when it's not holiday periods, and best of all you can have a FIRE in a Brazier, and first impression of the new owners seem ok.
No Affiliation ect ect.
Cheers

Camping is a state of mind really.
I have a campfire area in my back yard.... we sit around and
cook pizzas in the pizza oven, chops on the wood barbie, and
cook marshmallows etc.
Sometimes I might spend the night in my van beside a river, or maybe just in a gravel dump beside the road.... in the morning, I see the sights and get a surprise as to what things look like in daylight. A bit of '
camping'.
Sometimes a paddle down the river, stop to eat lunch.... is
camping... no tent, no sleep, but still
camping.
Sometimes I stop at a caravan
park, have a shower, .... and don't feel like I'm
camping. Funny.

We love
camping because it gets us back to the mere basics with 5,000,000 star accommodation, gets you out of the rat race, you have to work with mother nature first hand, you get to explore this wonderful country, meet great people, see beautiful landscapes, animals and plants, and even gets you out in the middle of no where with nobody else within koo wee, and doing what we love best, taking photos.
Sometimes we have been able to tent it for 2 months at a time, only heading into towns to replenish supplies. Currently looking at getting a new "Home" soon as our old tent is 6 years old and we worked it out that we have lived in it for about 8 months in total. Hate to think how many times we have put it up and down & also how many days spent in it out of the rain. It's been to every state in Oz... Looking at getting one a little bigger.
Ahhhh roll on Oct/Nov and
Corner Country.

We returned from
camping just a week ago talking to each other with more consideration kids included.
No mobile phone, kids not texing every minute , no TV and no one giving us grief .
No stress just fit in what you can in a day with no time lines.
See what you can see take a few photo's
cook great
camp fire food , just relax with good company and a drink or 2.
That's what we think
camping is all about.
I think it's easy to get in a flat out rut and you don't really know your in it , Until you unwind when
camping.
Cheers Scoof . :-)
