Don and Linda….I got your message (even though you left it in 2004!).

A few weeks ago I ticked another box in my “Things to do soon” list. I managed to head down to Christies Crossing from Woodie Woodie Mine in the Pilbara and work my way across the east-west route into Rudall River National Park. One of my objectives was to climb Bocrabee Hill and investigate the area around it. On the top of Bocrabee I came across a cairn. At the bottom of the cairn was a jar and note left by the builders so I’m now trying to find Don and Lindy, Marion and Neville, Peter and Deanna and Pook the wonder dog.

I figure that if you were adventurous enough to be out Bocrabee way, you will more than likely be members or visitors to this site. So if you were out that way on the 4th June, 2004, I got your message. On the odd chance that you are reading this, you’ll be pleased to know that the cairn is in good form, the jar is in tact and the message hasn’t deteriorated at all.

If anyone else is heading that way, take the time to climb the hill at the western end, you’ll find the cairn. Add your details.

Hope to hear from you.

Mick
