Canning Stock Route - Any Tagalong Tours departing July/August 09?

Hi!
I’m putting together a Discovery documentary on the
Canning Stock Route and need to do a research trip asap to check out the terrain, history, key
places, etc. As such, I’m hoping to join a tag-along tour as a passenger (eg in an escort vehicle), which seems to be the easiest way to do the trip in the first instance.
Does anyone know of a tour departing before the end of the current dry season that may have room for a paying passenger? I only need to do the actual
Canning Stock Route section between
Wiluna and Hall's
Creek, so could join a longer tour mid-way if need be. I know it's short notice, but am very much hoping to "piggy back" a tour last-minute if poss!
If anyone has any steers or info that might help, I'd be extremely grateful!

Adventure Tours Australia
has one departing July 23 (tomorrow!!).. doesn't say where from..
I think most of the other operators have completed this year's trip..
If ya get on the blower right now, ya never know ya luck ;-))

Thanks for that! I actually spoke to the guy at Adventuer Tours Australia last night, and unfortunately he's had to cancel that tour due to lack of numbers.

Not the right time frame for you but I was in touch with a tour company recently who quoted "$3000k for a CSR trip" Their attitude to my enquiry left a lot to be desired too, just makes you wonder sometimes!!! LOL
Hope you have a great trip, it's on the top of my list just have to find a
seat with someone as it's definitely not a trip to be done solo.
