morning all it may sound silly but
want to move my Engel external thermometer and wondered to lengthen the cable...now being a thermo .do i need a certain wire or just make to length as normal

Bring it round after tomorrow morning. Finish work today, vans done and going in for annex. We are leaving now on 4th Aug.

yep that's the one.............seems to be working fine.......
will stick a extra one in to check how accurate it is under strain .but thanks

i have the same one and all they have used is a fine 2 core solid bell type wire-quite crappy if you ask me.

Do we have pictures and information on extending the thermometer cable ??


(1) Did it happen ?

(2) Does it still work *accurately* ?

(3) Was the cable diameter increased ?
