I took my
Camp trailer on the 3 corners run a couple of years ago and the dust ingress drove me mad . The seals around are currently foam tape that I purchased at Clarke rubber .
I read that pinch weld rubber is the now the go . Has anyone had any experience with retro fitting to convert from foam tape to pinch weld ??

You will need a lip to mount the pinch weld compared to the flat mounting surface for tape.
Some aluminium angle pop rivetted on is the easiest material to work with in the back yard ... or get a lip welded to the existing body.
Hinges/Locks will probably need some relocating as the mating surface distances will change.

I fitted pinch weld seal to my camper I just renewed what was already existing but the existing seal looked like it had been shot with a shot gun. What a difference it made.
It's fantastic gear not that expensive I didn't think.
I got
mine from Fitch the rubber man, a good web site to see all the different types and shapes.
Cheers Scoof . :-)
