We have just bought a camper trailer thats fitted with a Oroca 20+, what we assume to be a regulator or flow meter for a solar unit.
My questions are -
1. We're considering buying a folding solar panel. We need to charge batteries (2 deep cycle) and run a fridge, lights and maybe a TV. What size would you recommend?
2. Is the Oroca a regulator, ie do I buy a "kit" or just a panel? It appears I have an Anderson plug to connect the panel to the system. Please excuse my ignorance - I know nothing!!

Alison,
I know nothing too, how about a few pictures, or more info about the Oroca ??

Basically you need to be able to replace in about 8 hours, what you remove from the battery in 24 hours.

Lex,
Unless I've also stuffed up, like you did, I've used the Steca serch engine and got the following result, yes direct from the Steca website:

No search result for "Oroca"
No matches found.
Change the spelling or try a synonym:

So if you think you know what it is just place the link here:

Maîneÿ I tried many search engines and could find no reference to any "Oroca" device.
My mention of Steca was an exercise in lateral thinking. If the device was in a inaccesible position or the marking was damaged I thought it possible that it could have been a Steca. The person is obviously not experienced with such devices. Have you any better ideas?

Excuse me for trying to help!

(By the way I would have used the spell checker but at the moment it comes up with a server error when invoked.)
