I have just finished talking to Mrs Footy,re Jims progress in hospital, she informed me that he is still in the ICU ward at the John Flynn Hospital, in her words she said that he was due to be transferred into a private room, but he had taken a step backwards, and the Doctors decided to keep Jim in the ICU for a few more days to be on the safe side, he is out of the Induced Coma, he recognises his family members, and has even been able to stand up, Mrs Footy is in good spirits and is getting great support from their family and close friends, she mentioned that her Son in law has organised a Lap Top Computer for Jim from where he works at Harvey Norman, Jims has been talking about getting one before he had the accident, I mentioned that I would give her a call in a couple of weeks time to check on Jims progress, she said would I thank all the People who have been enquiring and wishing Jim a speedy recovery, so on behalf of Mrs Footy please except her thanks.

Cheers

No doubt he'll have his HF radio with a long wire antenna setup in a short time.
Go for it Jim- all the best, and keep the QRN to a low level.

Daza,

You have saved me some time on the phone.

I was about to start organising getting Footy a Laptop.

Great news that he is on the mend abeit slowly.

Cheers Kev

Thanks for the good news Daza and for being our representative. Much better than Mrs Footy getting dozens of calls.

Jim.
