Is anyone able to tell me if the road from Poeppel Corner south to Warburton Crossing is ok at present for my Cruiser and Kimberley Kamper?
Similarly the road from Camerons Corner north to Innaminka via the Burke-Dullgari Oil Field.

Cheers and Beers

From the "road conditions" section.

Warburton Track Closed No ACCESS to Birdsville Track due to Flooding
Please obey Signs and Road Closures when posted.
Track is currently flooded, though normally rough and unsuitable for trailers
Feedback welcome.
Call Mungerannie Hotel for more details 08 8675 8317.

The Bore track from Camerons Cnr to Innamincka would be Ok to tow a Kimberley at the moment. No warnings currently on that track.

I travelled the Bore track last week too which was , as stated, quite badly corrugated in some sections. Having said that it should not stop anyone from travelling on it...

The Strezlecki proper (Innaminka - Lyndhurst) is in A1 condition. I was a bit surprised that there are now some bitumen sections. Is this because they are prone to deterioration during rain or is it to assist in overtaking without dust?

According to modern astronomers, space is finite..a very comforting thought particularly for people who can never remember where they left things
