Here is tonight's Australian Explorer Question:

Who was the Leader of an exploring expedition in 1891 which had a Victor Streich, a geologist, amongst the party?

Leaders full name: 3 Points

What Railway Siding did the party depart from? : 2 Points

Ed C. is streaming ahead on the points table. Will he take some points tonight?

Full Points Ed, once again well done.

David Lindsay, left Warrina Station as leader of the "Elder Scientific Exploring Expedition, 1891-2".

I remember seeing the plaque when I drove past Warrina in 2005. I would have taken a photo if I had brought my camera. Anyone else got a photo of it??

Interestingly enough, the latest Natmap (Warrina Mapsheet) only shows a ruin of the station adjacent to Warrina Creek, no actual mention of the station itself.
