The road reports on this website say its closed. Any one know if its open??

Its open, been across it three or four times in the last week.

Just spoke to a lady this morning (we are at Kununurra) she did it yesterday in her troopy.

The gates are open but the signs and the swek site still say it is closed..Also the road report on the radio has mentioned it is closed and that people crossing are at there own risk..Also remember with it that it is now not a gazetted road so there is no roadside assistance there.

Hi Oldsquizzy, it was pretty easy to cross on this day 1961Image Could Not Be Found but not on this day 1963 or 64 Image Could Not Be Found.

We did Ivanhoe crossing in our Jeep Commander and 20 ft Bushtracker about 3 weeks ago. Then up the Parry road to Wyndham. Lovely drive if a bit rough and with several gates to manually open/close. Make sure you go down to the Mambi Island boat ramp. Great camp site on the river. Good croc spotting. Other campers there.
