As everyone on this site will attest to, I’m not the smartest bloke on the block.

When I receive a member message the envelope comes up a couple of times then disappears.

I then have to search around trying to figure out how to respond. Can we make this feature a bit more user friendly guys?

Regards

Kim

Hey Kim

How did you go with the recovery of your computer, do we have any new secrets apart from letting the 4 year old next door fix it?

Cheers

Gidday Lotzi

Haven't had time to look at it since the post. I talked to Damn Dog about it, but did'nt get a meaningfull response....useless bloody mutt! did'nt help me at all. LOL.

But to all those people who offered help, I'll get to it at the weekend and find an answer.

Regards

Kim

Golly Kim / Dog whoever you are.

Maybe smoke signals would help you as you are not the smartest bloke on the block.

Let me know if I can help and I will happily spend an inordinate amount of money and time to assist you to respond.

Cheers

Kim, when you click on the envelope, after a bit of fancy stuff you get a bar of some description, left click on the bar & the message should appear.
Hope i'm right,if not it's over to some one else.

Cheers,

Bob.

Kim,

why don't you send a messgae direct to Damian or David. If it's a glitch in the system they'll be better placed to get it sorted.

Cheers Mick

Kim,

Click on the house button at the top right of the forum screen, this takes you to your home page.

At the top of your home page there will be a hyperlink to "Your Messages"
Click on that and that should open the page with all your member messages that Hairy has been sending you LOL

Once you open them they will only stay in your profile for about 48 hours. So if you want to keep them select the email home icon when the message is open.

HTH

Cheers Kev

Howdy Kev, I have a similar problem with the member message. When I log on & if there is a MM it tells me so by instructing to click on the envelope on the home page. But when message is read & even though I then delete the message, the system continues to tell me I have a new message regardless of how many times I delete it. It eventually disappears all by it little self? LOL & cheers
