Once again I am indebted to Exploroz members for the quick and accurate responses to requests for information. You have helped me find a favorite spot Butterfly Springs I had lost on my new maps I want to revisit there on my way back from an upcoming trip back from
Darwin where I am delivering a surf boat to the boys up North.

If its the place I'm thinking of out the Douglas/Daly way, isn't it called
Butterfly Gorge?

Yes, there is a
Butterfly Gorge on the Douglas/Daly and it is a beautiful place with great swimming.
