Does anyone have any knowledge of the condition of the Fitzroy Development Road between
Taroom & the Dawson H'way for towing a standard caravan? I realise conditions change but just need a general report.

I haven't been on that road for a long time.
Send a MM to Dave (member Tourboy) I am sure he would be able to answer the question about caravans along that road.

SWMBO & I went through there (towing a heavy c/t) approx 10 weeks ago...
Pretty much your average gravel road, which was in OK condition at the time..
I don't recall any issues which would preclude the taking of a standard c'van along said road, with the usual caveat.. 'Drive to the conditions'..

Also been through there recently. Caravan will be fine on the raod. Side roads may be another matter.
