Hi All
The excitement mounts in our household to get our KK ordered this week. Just looking for any comments from owners re inclusions/exclusions? What do you wish you had added, and what have you not used? What do you love (apart from the whole damn thing!!)?
Thanks in anticipation!
Sue

Sue
There is a KKowners site. Once you have a serial number you can join.
We own a KK and are currently in the
Flinders Ranges going north, eventually. It is so good especially when it is cold outside.
We purchased the limit edition which has all except the solar panels.
It is home away from home wherever you stop on or off power.
Regards
DW

After 15years of canvas, this is sounding great! I will certainly chase up the owners site once we get a number. We already have solar panels so we should be set. Thanks for that advice.
Cheers

Sue, there is a mobile number with my profile should you wish to talk through some options. I am not sure of your location, but I can probably find a local number of a Karavan owner to talk with should you wish. There were eight owners who were regularly emailing one another, I was one of those and so set up the Yahoo site. It is a 'No Cost" option to care and share.
Karavans have changed dramatically since they were introduced in 2006. There are lots of Limited Edition Karavans around with additions right up to
satellite TV. Most, though not all have air conditioning and some form of annex. Some have the Sovereign BBQ, and other use a dual fuel stove as preference to any other outdoor cooking.
DW above is a member of
KKOG and, oh, my number is there too. There are over 120 members which represent around 1/3rd Karavans sold. We have gatherings and plenty of fun and constructive comment and photos. Hundreds of ideas. There is an active members only
forum.
It is interesting that
Kimberley have picked up a lot of ideas from members, from permanent wiring, to tv or radio positioning in the cabin. There is plenty to assist in safeguarding your investment.

Oh, what do we love about it? Few can go where we can take ours, certainly no caravans. They would get wiped out on trees and white posts. If we lost it through an accident, we would order another immediately. There are actually a few around the EO
membership, of course away at the moment.

Hi Sue, we are heading off tomorrow to
Cooktown and expect to be in your vicinity around 21 August. We have received the email from John and will give you a call to see if you would like to look over our KK.
We spent many happy years in our canvas camper trailer but when we finally retired decided a little more comfort was required and we haven't regretted our decision. It's nice to know we're still not restricted to where we want to go.
Cheers
Debra

That will be great Debra, thanks for the offer. I dont know if you have stayed in Mackay before, but the Andergrove Van
park has a nice atmosphere, even though it is very busy this time of year.
We have had tents and then a camper for many years, so we look forward to a few creature comforts as
well. Especially when it doesnt mean we have to miss out on those
places we really want to go.
We look forward to hearing where you have taken you Van and having a look over it.
Cheers
Susan
