One of Slim Dusty's songs is titled "Things I See Around Me" and during my travels I see things too, funny things at times and here's one of them, on Tuesday on the way home from Ramingining there were road works going on, as passed down the left side of a water tanker I took a double look at the tyres on the rear axle....had to get a photo of these and here it is, Oh and they were still working it too ,

I haven't got the worlds best eyesight, but the steel bands look rusty, and the side of the trailer looks more like a rust colour where the wheel spray would affect it.
It it rust which would mean the tyres carked some time ago, or just rusty coloured dirt?

It's the mud/dirt color from the area, when they can get some more delivered it'll be as good as new,

The track chains on my excavator are down to the pins!...But sure as hell am going to finish the job i'm on..lol.
