"But now when i start my car heaps of oil is spurting out of the exhust and heaps of soot and smoke is my car forked??"
Sounds like turbo seal or broken rings.
"when i took it in they said they changed the oil to a thicker oil but there is still heaps coming out ??"
That sounds very dodgy.

Shane, surely being a Colarado it is under warranty and thicker oil won't fix the problem. Take the filler cap off and place your hand over it and run your vehicle see if you have oil on your hand if so you will find rings the problem if no oil then you have turbo problem as suggested by other members don't let them dictate to you it sounds as they are trying to pass the buck and if continues let us know who dealer is so all members can steer clear of them cheers alan.

I'd go and buy some Tequlia and salt and go drink it with you lemon ;)
I would definately be pushing for a new vehicle.
Cheers Kev

Correct me if I am wrong, but shane086 may have voided his warranty. From earlier posts I think Shane installed a modified exhaust, a rather large one. If so then it could be hard to ask for another car.
I would have the same problem if something went wrong with my running gear, having done some mods to it.
All in all he has had a bad run of luck Cheers Tony

Seems very strange that it went in for a clutch and gearbox problem and comes out with a severe oil problem.
Probably they wouldnt touch anything to do with the engine oil or the turbo other than perhaps removing the shiny exhaust.
Must be more to it than what is being posted.
Lots of Luck.

How hard are you driving this thing? They aren't a Trophy Truck! You contributed to the original clutch failure with the bogging in sand drama, so do you redline the thing trying to keep up with the mates dunnydore? This is your 1st 4WD, none of them are unbreakable despite what you see on the advertisements. Is it your 1st manual aswell! I know, from one of the vehicles that I have now, that there are faults with modern vehicles but if yours is entirely un-driver related I'd be extremely surprised.

I agree AJB.
I've just gone from a 4.0 Ltr Falcon auto, to a 3.2 TD Triton manual. Took a couple of weeks to get the head around how to drive it, as it's my first diesel.Took a couple of kg's of lead out of the right foot and now all is good!
The advert is right. I 'love that car'.

Good one, Stu-k, I quite agree. Apparently Colorado clutch assemblies & front
brake assemblies werent able to be sourced from Isuzu for Colorados & some
dud gear was substituted. I believe local dealers are now fitting the original
Rodeo/Dmax gear as replacement under warranty. A
young friend has had both replaced. His gearbox is rattling & has been told to drive it till it breaks & they will fit a new one from Isuzu under warranty. Cant fix it now as only option is
to repair not replace unless it sh*ts itself. I think Shane is being dudded, adding
thick oil is a copout.......oldbaz.

You have to wonder why a near new truck has had to have so much work done, oils changed, etc.
Sounds like you got one of those mythical lemons that appear every now again with some makes.
