I suspect you're looking for
Cape Leveque, Nor Nor East from
Broome and a first reference would be to do an Archives search for, say, the last 12 months.
It is certainly a lovely place - red sands, blue skies, pale bluey
water, and a great place to veg out for a few days. We've been there twice and would happily go again.

Thats the place. We just came back from up there. The road in is excellent apart from the corrugations. They can be bad depending on when it was last graded. They can be rough on "road" caravans, so I suggest you leave the highway van at home if you go there.

And you could do a lot worse than drop into Middle
Lagoon on the way - fabulous beachside, low key, campground hosted by the local owners - pristine beaches and
water - whale spotting - fishing - swimming. Can't wait to get back there.

G'day Jeep,
Just for the record, it is prounounced "Lev eek", not "Lev eck" as we West Australians hear from so many Eastern Staters.
Cheers
Russ.

Hi Jeep
yep the jayco outback dove handled in OK.
suspension took it better than I thought.
first approx 100km is black top. then dirt.
we did 60-65km in some of the dirt parts & down to 20km in others, road depends upon when the grader goes through. u probably allow 3 - 3.5 hours from
Broome.
great spot.
good luck. Tom

Thanks Tom, The Coromal does have independent
suspension and we had a Treg hitch fitted while at the factory, but it is good to know a 'soft off roader' can do the trip.
