Gidday Craig
Bit of a shame this has happened.
Back in the late seventies and early 80’s, we did a lot of rock climbing in
the Cathedral Valley.
There use to be an old hut up there where we had a merry time after finishing a day on the cliffs.
I was up that way not so long ago and found the hut gone, campers corralled into mud patches, weeds and over growth everywhere along the
creek.
I sat there amazed at the mess National Parks have made of the area. Unless I’m told otherwise, I’d suspect these fellas demolished the hut in perusing their vision of how life should be.
If in fact
deer hunters were responsible for the loss of the
King hut, I want to hear more about it, so I can take it up with the SSAA. We don’t want ratbags buggaring up the hard work of committed people.

Kim
