A very proud grandpa is pleased to advise that we have a new baby boy in the family. he was born at 2.30 am today and weighed in at a healthy 4.35 kgs (9.57 lbs) and 53 cms long. At that size a caesarian delivery was necessary but Mum and baby are fine. Full marks to Manly Hospital for a safe, successful delivery.

My daughter in law did go 9 days over so I guess that explains some of the size. Both my boys were nearly 4 kgs at birth.
We are off to see the new boy (as yet unnamed) and to take some photos for his other grandparents who are Norwegian and live in Bergen.
We are indeed blessed to have 2 lovely daughters-in-law although the other one is living in Philadelphia at the moment.
