We are going to Sth Stradbroke Island in about 5 weeks Then of to
Dalby.
On the way up to Stradbroke frome
Scone we go via
Ipswich and going to
Dalby from Stradbroke we go via
Ipswich.
Therefore any good kennel in between would suit our dogs.
I have looked at the yellow pages and a couple of sites on the internet,,,but nothing really gives you an idea of how they treat the dogs etc.
So my question is,,,,, can anyone recommend a good kennel along the above route?

There's a good one near Browns Plains / Greenbank. if you call the number on the card below they'll put you on the right direction.

Hi Boo Boo,
I've used Mike Aylward at Ebernezer, near Amberley on a number of occasions & found him to treat the dogs
well. It is basically on your way into
Brisbane.

Thanks fellas
It's much better to get word of mouth on this type of thing than taking pot luck in the yellow pages.
I'll check them out today.

We use a company that go around to your house, feed and walk the dog and also play with him. They check windows and take the mail out of the letter box....from memory it was around $20 a day

Unfortunately we are not living in Qld so we have to opt for the kennel while we are on Stradbroke.
At home is Ok the girl next door feeds and exercises the dogs waters the garden brings in the letters and cleans up the dog poo every day we are away.
We offered here $10 a day and she was happy.

Do you not want to take your dog to Straddie? We always
camp over at main beach and you are allowed dogs there and at allot of the other
camp zones

We have been given a unit for a week (no charge) and we don't think they would appreciate two large dogs running around in the unit.
One is a X great dane and the other is a cross german shepard.
