can i adjust the torsion bars to achieve this? if so how,and do i need any special tools !!!

No, in a simple answer.
Check your bump stop clearances, the upper and lower A arms should be equally distant from the lower and upper bump stops. The front end does sag with age.
You might be able to squeeze 5 to 10mm more by going for a slightly higher setting.
For more clearance, it is easier to go for bigger tyres.
To adjust, jack up the front end and adjust the bolt at the rear of the torsion bar.
Make sure you have the same height both sides. No special
tools required.

If it has torsion bars in the front it must be NA to NL. ??
NP on had coil springs. ??
My NJ looks almost the same underneath the front as my old NB.

Do you realise that the vehicle will become less stable and you will get accelerated tyre wear if you do this ?

hi marq n kk thanks for your replies, it,s a 1995 3.5 nj lwb and didnt know about the tyre wear, anyone know the best option? back end,s nice n high [may have been uprated for towing]maybe! . i just want it to look like its not going down
hill all the time and the extra clearance would be usefull for offroad
