silverton via 12 mile siding or broken hill

just a quick question for someone who knows the area

if coming from adelaide is there a road to silverton through 12 mile siding or do we have to go into B Hill

Mik, I am not sure that you will get through the 12 mile siding area.
Offhand I think you would be going through 3 different pastoral leases, so permission would be required .
That is the old Silverton Railway track through that way.

As dave says, no access unless you get permission from property owners. If you do dont drive on the train line as there are many small creeks and the line suddenly stops(i.e no bridge). Cheers marn
