Hello My Garmin 760 is doing strange things seems to be slow in showing true speed About 30 seconds delay this has happened lately software is up to date use trip log to check fuel consumption today it showed recorded max speed of 173 K.P.H. I wish dont think the 6 cylinder auto 100 Series capable of this even down a
mine shaft with a tail wind
any ideas

Hi, was that speed shown in the trip log after you downloaded it to your PC.
if so I have seen 223kph ( NF Pajero) on one of
mine and that was in the town, it appears that if you change the route and it " recalculates" it seems to zip from one place to the other and that shows the high speed, if you click on the high speed line on the readout it will show you exactly where it was on the track log in green.
I have noticed that some times ( not often) my 760 is a bit slow on the distance to turn, I reach the corner before the unit tells me.
Cheers Des.
