I was searching for camper trailers and I have come across a camper trailer on ebay that caught my eye.
What is you opinion of these ? They are good / bad / ugly ?
They seem to sell for around the $8000mark.
It would be used as an on road camper trailer behind a Toyota Prado.
the link is below to the camper trailer on ebay - hopefully the link works.

Have a look at this recent discussion on these campers:
http://www.exploroz.com/Trader/Campers_Trailers.aspx
I summise they would be ok as an onroad camper, however i would question there marketing tactics eg "THE KING OF ALL CAMPER TRAILERS - INTRODUCED AT MID-YEAR CARAVAN SHOW!"
The BIG concern over one of these purchases is the following statement:
"Unfortunately as we operate from a logistics warehouse, this unit is not available for viewing purposes prior to sale. "
There is no way in the world i would commit so much money to an item without at least seeing/trying one first.
The would probably be an acceptable camper trailer for on-road travels, however for true off-road they might be a bit light-on with their construction. YMMV.
I would be surprised if they sold for anywhere near $8000......

http://www.kedroncaravans.com/walkabout.html
We purchased a walkabout camper trailer about 10 years ago from Kedron Caravans, and have just sold it to upgrade to a caravan. It was the best around at that time for the price -
well made with Nathan trailer and heavy duty canvas - didn't have any problems with it at all, a bit of rust at the end but we did keep it outside in all weather (was an on road one).
Check them out, good bunch of guys.
