Diesel injector Service Brisbane - a plug

Well this is just a plug.

I rang around and got quoted round the $1k mark all up for my 5LE hilux 4 pot diesel (non-turbo), and such quotes included "and we may have to work on your fuel pump".

I eventually decided I may as well go as local as I could get other than a service station. A google search turned up Rocklea Diesel.

Walter said "$650" and i said what about if my fuel pump needs work? he said "I don't touch them until them make a noise at idle, waste of money".

Ok, done dusted and saved a few hundred bucks. Then he talked to me about hiluxes for about 20min describing how his KZN factory turbo had a cr@p clutch so he put in a prado clutch and now him and his boat are laughing.

So anyhow, super good quick service, I took a bicycle and hung around bunnings round the corner for a couple hours, though you could easily walk there, and also tortured myself looking at recently second hand utes at Cousins 4WD on the same street. Hint though, don't use whereis.com to get there as it is NOT actually on Ipswich Road.
