Checking Google Earth it sure is sealed all the way. It even shows up on Street View, as do all the streets of
Sandstone.
I've found one "downside" to using Street View is that it's easy to say,
well I've seen that, now there's no need to go there.
We will all become lounge room travellers.

Spend a while in and around
Sandstone (between Leinster and Mt Magnet). It is an lovely tiny town, in a huge Shire with a total
population of 116 people. The shire owned caravan
park has the best amenities block i have seen, and is kept spotless by the delightful
camp manager (if she is still there). An alternative is the
camp on the old
Lake Mason Station out of town - good place for gold fossicking but pets not allowed.
Sandstone was the surprise gem of our trip last year. We booked in for one night and stayed three.

Will be very interested to see your comments on this road after your trip - the man of the house and I will be travelling through there in early December, heading back to Tassie.
