Hi all
Can any tell me about condition of roads in the
park and is fishing permissable. Leaving Hunter for tip late September thought we might have look. Thanks Steve

Was there 8 or so wk's ago & the roads were rubbish compare to the main rd's.
Drive to the conditions & you should be ok.
Fishing i did not do any,thogh there were others there that were,could not tell you if they were getting fish though.
Have a good trip, as i did.

Was there last month, BattlecampRoad is very rough. In fact made the OTL and Bypass Roads look like a holiday and so is the road North thru to the Musgrave rd.
The
water was too cold for the barra whilst we were there and probably would be eaten into extinction by the swarms of cane Toads.

I was there 3 weeks ago and the roads were fine (ie any factory 4wd with all terrain tyres would have no problems)
As others have said,
water is a bit cold still but you should be fine late September.
