Works ok on gas but fails on 240volts, seems ok on 12volt whilst towing,
any help out there, please??

Probably your 240 volt heater element.
It's seperate from the 12 volt one.

Hi. I was told the 240v element is more likely to fail than the 12 v one.
Either is simple to replace, if you can get to the back of the fridge easily. Obviously, you need to check the 240v supply to the fridge before you invest in repairs.
If you are tempted to run the fridge off 12v via a power supply, just remember the fridge will draw up to 15 A at 12 V (12 A continuous) if it like
mine.
