Hi,

Which parks in and around Darwin take well behavewd dogs? Any recommendations?

We will be travelling from Charters Towers across thru Mt Isa in the next few weeks and would appreciated any advise for those parks along the way and in Darwin.

We are members of Oz Parks, Family Parks and Top Tourist

Thanks in advance

Hi I havnt been to Darwin but travel to many caravan parks around W.A with the family including our 4 legged member, i find Badgers caravan park reports invaluable when choosing a caravan park to stay at, i have attached the link (i hope) check out Coolalinga tourist resort Howard Springs they are dog friendly, apparently...best of luck & happy travelling.

Hey CBL,

When travelling with our dog used the following site and clicked on the dog friendly icon http://www.camping.com.au/
Did find that there were others not on this site that would take dogs but gives a good starting point.

Lee Point Village Resort takes dogs but you have to park in a special area which is a bit like a sealed carpark,we have been here for 3months and its a good camp.Good swimming pools etc,we dont have a dog but have seen a few on leads around, close to beach and walks, phone 08 89450535 .Rosco
