Gday all, can anyone tell me if you can load outback maps & how to load it onto a Garmin Nuvi 760, I have a Raster Map Collection of over 30 outback maps & Ozi Explorer Mapping Software on my laptop. I use this collection to see and plan where im going to travel. All help will be gratefully received, i'm not up with all this technology

Hi Tony,
you can only load maps that are designed for garmin onto garmin GPS; such as Johnny Appleseed topo, Garmin topo, shonky maps and and any other garmin proprietary maps. Raster maps are not loadable to a garmin. OziExplorer and other such software only allow you to send track, waypoints etc to your Garmin. You need garmin mapsource to load Garmin type maps to your garmin.
regards

Thanks Fred B, looks like I take the laptop with use on our next trip at the end of the month, as a back up to paper maps that I am used t. Maybe next time I'll upgrade to Topo or shonky maps.
