Diamond,

When did this happed - I have not changed anything at this end (I HOPE) that would have caused this. Can you please send me feedback via the form as I can get your browser info (About Us - Contact Us). PLease also tell me in the feedback what browser you think you are using - ie. IE or Opera etc and the version.

Have you installed anything or changed any settings in the browser latley? It would appear as if the DHTML stuff is not running if the menu and latest news are not working?

I have checked it on my stuff and it appears OK. Try a reboot that fixes a lot of errors. Regards

Happens to me spasmodically - and I suspect my server ... the menu bars get condensed up .. all I do is return to "Home" (on my browser, which is the Bigpond site) and reload it and the world is happy again.

If all the browsers ran the same, Billy Gates would end up broke.

No problems with my menu bar today or last week. Happened once a long while ago and between me and David we corrected it. Can't remember how we fixed it.

No problems with this site at all apart from some slow loading and when I use the BACK button to get out of Post Responses page. I run Windows 98 Second edition and IE.

Cheers,

WillieNever a dull moment

Guys,

It has got me I will try rebuilding the menu script tonight - try a CTRL + REFRESH. i.e. hold the control key down and click on the refresh button. Let me know if this works.

Additionally change the site layout. You can do this at anytime by adding the query string ?Layout=6 to the URL. So the forum index would be http://www.exploroz.com/forum/default.asp?layout=6 - Layout 6 was written for Mac's that could not display the DHTML stuff - it is not as good but it should work. Try it and let me know. Layout=7 is the default for IE, Netscape and Opera - Layout=5 is for Older IE and older Netscape.

You only need to add this query string once per visit to the site I remember your settings for the remainder of the session. Let me know what is happening as I cannot duplicate the problem so it is impossible to test it. As mentioned after I submit this I will go and perform a rebuild on the menu files - takes about 5 mins. try CTRL + Refresh then the different layouts.

So in click fashion:
Layout 5older IE & Netscape

Layout 6no DHTML -The one to try.

Layout 7current versions with DHTML support

Howdy all -

I am no computer geek - but a mate was also having the same problems.

If you look at the bottom left of your status bar (the one on the bottom) you will see that it has "errors on this page" It appears that there is a fault in your browser (IE) - it has become corrupt and needs to be reinstalled...not too difficult to do...that should solve your problem. It is not caused by a virus - just a glitch on your computer.

Computers - love them and hate them!Lovin' life!

Ah I have got a new menu system program. I am working on it now give a a few hours or maybe tomorrow and I will install a new build to see if these fixes some of our problems.

Oh yes I did do something to the program the other day so can you tell me if the menu is back now please as I have undone this.Regards
