Hi All
Looking at doing the road from
Cobar to Mungo NP via Ivanhoe and Lake Garnpung but looks like the track across the lake on Natmap Raster may be a station track for about 7kms. so my question is, is this a public through road or not and if it is has anyone travelled this way recently.
cheers
Mal

It's a public road and a good one, haven't done it for a couple of years. Don't worry about any
water in lake Garnpung don't think there's been any for about 10000 years :)

Just to clarify here; I'm assuming once you get to Ivanhoe you then head up to Darnick where you turn onto the
Pooncarie road, the turnoff to Mungo is about halfway down this road which crosses lake Garpung.

Wicket
Thought I'd come in from the eastern side of Lake Garnpung not down from Darnick. Any thoughts?

Hunjy,
Sorry mate but haven't been that way so can't help. Given that the road you want appears on the map you'll probably be ok though.
