I have a NS 25th Anniversary Pajero with rails & 2 Rhino Sportz racks.
No problems about the tent being on top, but when I look at the rails, not sure if they will support 170 kg's of bodies up there.
Have anyone got any thoughts on this?

Brian,
have you checked out the Rhino website for the specs re the bars. If memory serves me correctly they are 80kg's a bar max. The specs should reveal all.

The bars are ok, its the rails on the Paj, and what happens if the bar sits on the rail between the supports for the rail, will the rail handle the weight

The NS rails are only rated to 75KGs. (I have an NS DiD.0)

I'd take the factory rails off and fit a heavy duty track system with three bars to spread the load. Like most 4B's the Paj is only rated to 100 KG roof load so you need to spread it around as much as possible. I believe the rating applies to a load when driving so when stationary you should be OK with the extra.

Roof load ratings specify dynamic load ie. load while moving... static load will be around 3 times that. (depending how dynamic you are in bed I spose)
