My sep 2008 SR5 has built in bluetooth but my phone does not connect automaticly. I have done all the setting on the phone and paired it etc but it only connects twice then i have to do connect it manualy. Has anyone else had this problem? Can it be fixed? Phone or car?

Do you have more than one blue tooth devices on your phone, i have because i run 2 cars, if i just have to connect to my 08 Prado its fine but if i swap to my blue ant head set for my other car and try to go back to the Prado i have problems and have to reconfiger it. i have decided to just leave it set up for the Prado, to much hassle with 2 cars. but i would say its the phone depending on what one you have.

When I bought my new triton the salesman said that if the bluetooth doesn't want to connect it's usually a simple fix by turning the mobile off all together then turn back on. Reboots the bluetooth connectivity in the phone.
Haven't had to yet.

Usually happens when the phone is left on all the time, which, lets face it, is what they are for.
