Having just destroyed my second A411 Samsung, I am looking for a new prepaid replacement.
Had a Tu550 which was unbreakable but hopeless when it came to reception. I was happy with the A411 phones, cheap and great reception, problem is they are discontinued.
Could I have some feed back on a simple prepaid that has the best reception.

We have two of the Telstra Next G phones. (GTS?) Got the first one in 2007 and used it with our monthly plan. Got a new one a couple of months ago and changed the first one to a pre-paid system, that can be re-charged as necessary. Have used the first one travelling in WA, SA, Vic, NSW, Qld. No issues with reception - you are never going to have mobile coverage all over - but reckon ours get signals whenever it is available.

We have had a number of NextG phones all of which were changed by Telstra at no cost to us until we eventually ended up with a ZTE F165. It's a bit agricultural but it is solid and more importantly it works. I also use it for my internet connection to the laptop and it also works
well at this.
