Hi people, I'm wondering if anyone can help me with a miss in my 91 80 series turbo (factory) It starts fine, then after a while it gains revs slightly and then a miss starts If you build revs the miss goes away until you reach high revs then it comes back. If you crack any of the injectors at idle the miss goes away for a few minutes then comes back. I have changed the fuel filter and no result. Can anyone help??

It would sound as though that one or more of the injectors are leaking and gass is being forced into the injector lines, hence the miss
You also need to
check the small filter in the fuel in let on the injector pump if there is one fitted.
this filter is inside the inlet fitting at the pump.

have you checked the tappets for clearance and also
check the shims where the cam lobe run as some time they get a wear patch in them and that could be your intermittent miss
